Stallion Spirit Month

Stallion spirit month begins on Friday October 19th. Show your Stallion Spirit to help support the United Way!  There will be various Spirit Event s throughout the month which will help support Our United Way initiative!

 

Friday October 19th-- Chandail de Sport- Cheveux fou / Wacky Hair and Sports Jersey Day----Bingo in the afternoon!

Friday October 26th-- S’Habiller comme M. Santos/Dress like Mr. Santos Day! Get your tie and moustache on. Raffle Be principal for a day! Tickets 3 for $1

Tuesday October 30th- Tombola de citrouilles de l’Halloween / Pumpkin Raffle

Tuesday October 31st-- Orange and Black Day/ Journee orange et noir

Friday November 2nd -- Pyjama et Copains de lectures/ Pyjama day and                                                                                                       Reading/ Math Buddies block

Crazy Sox for Terry Fox Run

We will be holding a Terry Fox Run for students and staff in the afternoon, on Friday, October 12th. All students are encouraged to wear crazy sox and bring $2.00 to make a donation to the Terry Fox Foundation.


PD Day and Thanksgiving

A reminder that Friday, October 5th is a PD Day. We will see the students again on Tuesday, October 9th, as Monday is a holiday. We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.


Dance-A-Thon to show St. Stephen Cares

This Friday September 28th, St. Stephen will be hosting a Dance-A-Thon in support of Tornado Relief initiatives. Students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 are asked to bring in a suggested donation of $5 ($10 per family max.).  Money raised will directly go to Tornado relief initiatives. Students are asked to do a chore at home to earn any money donated. Let’s show Ottawa that St.Stephen cares!

Holy Spirit Parish News

Sacramental Preparation 2018-2019

If you are interested in having your child celebrate their 1st Eucharist (Communion) this school year, we invite you to attend only ONE of the following parent information meetings at Holy Spirit Church

Tuesday September 18th at 7:00 pm OR Sunday September 23rd at 1:00 pm

The sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated in the spring of 2019 for the young people in grade six or older. If you are interested in having your child celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation, we invite you to attend only ONE of the following parent information meetings at Holy Spirit Church

Tuesday September 25th at 7:00 pm OR Sunday September 30th at 1:00 pm

All these meetings for both 1st Eucharist and Confirmation are for parents/guardians and Confirmation candidates. The meetings will last about 1 ½ hours. Your presence at one of these meeting is mandatory if you would like your child to celebrate this sacrament.
